Sunflower Metallic Eyes

I have been meaning to use these shadows for a while, but was intimidated by the colors. Unfortunately, they don't show up on the eye as vibrantly as they do in the pan. The gold is chalky and takes layering, and the copper and taupe fall flat, considering how metallic they look in the pan. Usually I'm impressed by the LA Color shadows (well, the Expressions line, anyway), but not this time. There are better colors out there. I'll include a full list of products used at the end of this post.
After priming my lids and doing my brows, I started on my eyes. For the eyes, I used a gold on half of the lid, taupe on the other half, which I brought up into the crease and a bit over. To deepen the crease, I used a dark brown matte shadow. I blended that out and then at the top of the brown and taupe, I put on a bit of the copper. Under all of this, I used my Milani Shadow Eyez pencil in Champagne Toast. I lined my waterline with a black pencil as well.
I highlighted my brow with a matte cream shade, and put a bit of a shimmery light gold just under the arch of my brow. I used that same gold on the inner corner. I finished off the look with a brown liner, smudged it out with some of the dark brown shadow, then did lash curling and mascara.
After that, I just did my face and applied my coral lipstick! I hope you enjoyed this look. Please let me know if there is anything else you'd like to see. Have a great day!

    1. Nope, I used my foundation to clean up the edge! It works great. I thought this look would be good for you. =) I would have done winged liner, but I was lazy. xD
